However, since our primary focus is DVD, the majority of our news posts will be about the latest DVD announcements from BOTH the Cartoon & Anime world.

In addition to our DAILY DVD NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS, AnimatedBliss provides comprehensive databases for Animation on DVD, CD, and IN THEATRES!

The DVD LISTINGS database is perhaps the largest Animated-only DVD database online, containing information and details on virtually every Animated DVD ever released...both Cartoons & Anime. Not only does it provide you with details on all your favorite discs, but you can browse the database in three different ways... alphabetically, by release date, or by company. So if you want to see what DVD's have been released for Transformers, or what DVD's are coming out on April 22, 2003, or what DVD's Funimation has released, then we've got you covered.

The other databases here on the site are the CD LISTINGS database and the IN THEATRES database. While these databases are a bit smaller than the DVD one, they still follow the same general format and browsing options. The CD Database contains information and details on various Soundtracks that have been released for Animated TV Series, Movies, etc. The IN THEATRES database contains information and details on animated Films that have been released to theatres. Right now, this particular database only goes back to 1980, but don't worry, films from the previous years are currently being added.
